Position Description:

The Director of Field Development is responsible for creating a comprehensive Field Development strategy plan for the company, its distributors, and the Field Development team.  Their goal will be to develop, maintain and execute the plan to grow the business in sales and recruitment within budget.  They will identify the field’s training needs, growth drivers and key performance indicators and will lead by example with their senior talented team to implement the plan and its training, marketing and growth strategies.  This position reports directly to the CEO.
Position Attributes:
Extensive experience in strategic planning of Field Development growth and attaining target KPI’s
Experience in creating direct sales training plans in the party plan channel
Experience identifying KPIs, key drivers, and using these to drive business results
Leading by example to produce consistent growth in Sponsorship, Sales, and Leadership Development
Consistently deliver and exceed KPI targets within budget. Expertise in building strong personal relationships Highly effective inspirational public speaker Sensitive communicator, trainer and a strong coach to influence exceptional performance Positive, collaborative team member with a can do attitude
Demonstrated ability to build a strong, talented team
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic business plan to drive growth of the sales/distributor organization.
Identify key drivers and metrics to measure all aspects of growth.
Monitor KPI’s of the strategic business plan
Create the training plans and executing these plans for exceptional company results
Direct the Field Development Team to execute the plan and motivate the field from a remote location
Ensure consistent messaging and field training associated with sales, recruiting and the development of Field Leaders.
Responsible for direction and content of field training programs and communication to the field.
Develop growth producing recognition programs.
Represent company at field functions.
Work with marketing team to develop incentives and promotional programs.
Requirements:
Comprehensive understanding of compensation plans used within the party plan channel.
Ability to think and plan strategically and flex by getting into the weeds to help execute tactically
Demonstrated analytical skills, including Field metrics
Ability to effectively present to small and large groups in public forums
Dynamic trainer, with exceptional writing skills.
Results-driven with a record of success in both field and corporate party plan markets.
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of people management in related sales, training, field development and support experience, especially partyplan direct sales
Excellent communication and relationship building skills with high emotional intelligence
Ability to travel at least 30% of the time.
Demonstrated ability to be organized and focused.
